The Gingerline Secret Dining Review

The Gingerline Secret Dining Review

We all have a friend who does this -
Friend "Oooh, I've got a REALLY good piece of gossip"
Me/you "What is it?"
(So-called) friend "Aaaah, I shouldn't really say anything actually. Ignore me"
And yes you want to punch them in the face for bringing up something you weren't even bothered about. Unfortunately I am being that so-called friend when it comes to talking about the Gingerline.

The Gingerline isn't harbouring some major Fight Club envy, you can mention it's existence but you can't talk to anyone about 1. where it is 2. what you saw 3. what you did. So for someone who writes a blog about things I've seen and done and where it is with the express objective to give you an idea of whether it's something you'd like to do, this makes this post pretty ridiculous.

For those who literally have no clue what the Gingerline concept even is, this is taken from their website "Gingerline is a clandestine dining adventure operating in secret and changing locations along the London rail network" (hence the name the gingerline).

Also, I can tell you that this particular experience was called "The chambers of flavour". Note the s. PLURAL. See you figured that out yourself anyway...plus actually when you read the the chambers of flavour website it's pretty obvious anyway.

I can also tell you that they made some excellent cocktails from their CoF bar.

A card holder to let us collect descriptions of our meals. There is a reason I'm wearing a red skirt. I SHALL SAY NO MORE!

I can see you're curious about the coffin looking thing on the right on the floor...

...a shift in camera angle and you'll see the word "IN" above it. I haven't told you anything...just making factually correct observations

So, if you like being surprised and delighted, eat gorgeously prepared food and retreat back to child-like wonder, the Gingerline is for you. The 2 of us just about managed to get hold of the coveted tickets but if you are able to get a group of you to go, that would be really good. Good luck and enjoy!
